2010 Friday Program
Dear
jayakumar, Arasu sir and Team,
Well
done for the entire day.
I just
think about how 3 hours will go in the morning. But the session was
balanced by having informative session by Mr Jawahar and Mrs
Thiayagavalli and interesting delivery by Mr Gandhi.
I have
to really appreciate to your team to find the venue - Cambridge
school and i think this is the best & comfortable venue for our
events.
The
lunch and arrangement was very nice and I had got the feeling of
attending a marriage in Tamilnadu.
The
evening session was one of the best entertainment session for the
recent years of TEF events and there is no roaming of audience for
the entire program. Children and adults were all enjoying and
everybody was amazed on Vasanth's inerest on entertaining the
children even at the dinner time.Convey best regards ( one more time
) to him on behalf of TEF members.
The
benchmark level for TEF events is again gone up with the inaugural
programm of TEF 2010.
Thanks
and best wishes for your Team & Efforts.

Sir,
The TEF
had given a wonderful inaugural function. In fact the programme of
career counselling was taken at the right time of the children
career planning. The banana leaf lunch was really wonderful and well
organised with traditional settings.
Our
family had a banana leaf lunch like this after two years. Thanks to
TEF for that.
Evening
Magic programme was wonderful. The programme was short and crisp
with everyone enjoying both the magic and the music. Children loved
the music.
A
suggesstion is that u can load some video clippings and photos of
the occassion with editing etc in your website and email the members
of them to view the same.
This
was people can show this programme to the relatives in India too.
Wish u
a great and successful year. TEF is welcome always for our kind of

Congrats for the efforts. It was a great day filled with important
information and entertain
ment.
To be honest the morning session would have been more useful if we
had the full session with Mr.Gandhi or at least Mr.Mannar Jawahar. I
personally felt the time taken by Mrs.Vedavalli was not not worth
it. Again this is on hind sight. But the effort is really
commendable. The food was for a change novel and good.
I
suggest the presentation material by MrGandhi or the CD of the show
if available to the members will be very useful
Kep it

Dear
Jeya kumar
Yesterdays TEF full day program was really well organized, conducted
on time & with very good food arrangements.
We
appreciate u for selecting a new venue nearer to many of our
location. It was an ideal venue for our programs. Dining hall is
really massive and arrangements by Udhayam was fantastic.
Hats
off to u and ur team.
I was
very much impressed with the morning program & there was lot of
interaction from members. Anna University VC and JP Gandhi's
speeches & their reply for our queries were very informative. Only
draw back i felt was in the speech of Medical Varsity chief, which
went for an hour and that had reduced the duration for Q & A
session.
Attraction of the entire day's program is " Magic show" by Vasanth.
From children to Adults all enjoyed it.
In the
eveng program hall was full with many members and families were
standing and watching the program. But when we see the video
coverage we could see lot of new faces, may be new members or Non
TEF members. As the hall capacity is lesser than AIS, I feel that we
should have some control on the entry so that all TEF members should
be accommodated in the future programs.

The

Just
one feedback on the morning session. You could have suggested to the
members that the event was for parents and whose children are in
+2. Thus the presence lot of kids could have been avoided, who were
disturbing the event. Otherwise TEF committee members could have
been deployed to take care of the children and kept them engaged say
in another floor.

The

Theteam,DrMannar,Mr.JPGandhi,Mrs&MrKirupakaran did a wonderful
job, understanding our needs and background of our way of life.Indeed
it is the right team to do this programme.only when we witnessed

The
venue is very suitable for both the sessions.Of course the TEF

subjectRe: Inaugural Function – Feedback
Dear
TEF Committee 2010....
I
wanted to send myself a feedback about your yesterday's program.
At the
outset, Thanks a LOT for inviting me for the function - both in the
morning and in the evening.
Secondly coming to your morning program - the most valuable program
for many parents. However, I would like to inform you, that YOU had
mentioned that this was the FIRST time such a program has been
conducted in Kuwait, which is INCORRECT.
Association of Indian Professionals (AIP) an Indian Association,
registered in Embassy of India, Kuwait since 1995 has been
conducting every alternative years, Career Guidance Program - for
Indian School Children - wherein they bring speakers from different
faculties and address the school children.
Thirdly, your speakers were all VERY WELL Knowledged persons -
especially VC and Dr. Thilagavalli. Expert speech by J P Gandhi was
the most attraction - however, the speed & flow of speech - NEED NOT
HAVE BEEN - paused because of MIKE and VIDEO requirements - He spoke
well and very informative.
My
suggestion is - As you are a COMMUNITY BASED association - part of
Indian Diaspora in Kuwait, could have organized similar program, for
the BENEFIT of All Indian Students - by which you could have given
this chance - of listening to these great persons comments and
people would been benefited. Any Indian School would have given FREE
AUDITORIUM for these causes.
The
Lunch was too good - but could have AVOIDED some of the items - as
NOT all items could have been had at one time - as you have 3-4
curries and so on. But an EXCELLENT idea and food was good -
especially the way the caterers served is to be appreciated. Quality
food, from a good caterers with an excellent service (with smile and
fast too). Reminded of marriage food in South India - as you had
meticulously planned for Vathalai, Paakku and Sunnambhu.
Evening
program - was out of the world - starting from the Banner in the
stage, VIPs - Kuwaiti and family was there, throughout the program -
which shows his RESPECT for your organization. Logic Illai Magic by
Vasanth is stupendous, where people of all ages were fully involved
- especially he was the FIRST artiste (magician) who made Ladies to
participate, by bringing them in the stage.
He
showed magic, even after the program was over, in the dinner arena,
till late night as well as very jovial person and a 'great' friend,
who encouraged others to learn the trick of the game. Excellent
evening.
Regarding the props in the evening program - the HUGE SCREENS on
either end, other than the small screens on the side of the stages
were too good. Sound system and Video coverage is also superb.
Dinner
- as good as Lunch - superb and good planning - in terms of service.
Overall
an excellent program - Having done the maiden show in an excellent
way, I am sure, this year TEF and their members will have an
exciting year.
Great
work - keep up the excellent work...

Sir,
Thank
you for a memorable day. The program was very good and we appreciate
the time consiousness of the committee to keep programs within the
time limits. It is a novel idea to bring eminent personalities in
education field who really reached well with parents in highlighting
the opportunities for children. The venue was excellent and the food
arrangement was very good. Hats off to your efforts.
It has
become a habit now that most of the TEF events - children management
has become an issue. I have a suggestion here to make. In the
morning session the topics were focussed on parents having children
in senior school. However children in junior school were creating
lot of disturbance and distracting the focus of discussions. In
future, I suggest the committee to clearly mention in the invitation
that parents should take of their children in venue when they enjoy
the programs and also let others enjoy.
Alternatively, there can be a children's corner in the venue where
children below certain age can be entertained by cartoon show or
other play activities. Also parents can be gently but sternly told
to mind their children so that they do not disturb the events.
It is
unfortunate that such suggestions are forthcoming, but it is also of
equal concern the attitude of certain parents who do not mind their
young children in public events. I put forward this suggestion only
with an intention of improving the value of TEF family events and
without any intention of hurting any one.

Only
few suggestions from my end are:
1. The
Questions of parents could have been collected in advance and the
selective/critical questions might have been addressed to the
experts for their answers in front of audience.
2. The
Question & Answer time could have been extended a little more since
in comparison that was the most useful session than the routine

The selection of the place for the function was

The magic show was something that all of us

The guidence by the dignitaries for admission

The only thing we found lacking was in
controlling the noisy children. Parents who were not interested in
